Read the list first: not every document needs translating
The consulate or application centre decides the translation requirement for visa applications, and it varies by country and visa type. Some consulates accept English documents without translation, and banks and employers can often issue documents in English. If you submit Turkish documents, check the list for the target language and certification required.
To avoid unnecessary translations, send the application list together with your documents. We separate the ones that need translating and prepare your file in one go.
What to watch for in financial and employment documents
A bank statement must clearly show the account holder’s name, account number (IBAN), period and balance; consulates often want a statement covering a specific period. Amounts and currency are rendered as in the source, with no currency conversion. If you submit payslips, a social security service record and an employer letter (leave letter) together, make sure job title, start date and salary are consistent across them.
Applicants with a sponsor may also include the sponsor’s bank documents and letter of undertaking; students a student certificate; property owners a title deed. Indicate in the file names whose document each one is.
